Monapass honoured at 30th Palmarès VRT des Mobilités

On 8 December, the 30^th Palmarès VRT des Mobilités (VRT Transport Awards), organised by the Ville, Rail & Transport magazine, were held in Paris. The event was attended by more than 350 delegates from industry, start-ups, public bodies and operators, including SNCF, Mappy and Airweb.

The Principality of Monaco won the Digital Transport award for the introduction in May this year of Monapass, an all-in-one mobility app launched by the Prince’s Government in partnership with the Monegasque Bus Company (CAM) and Monaco City Hall as part of the Extended Monaco programme.

“We are fiercely proud to have won the Digital Transport award at this event which recognised major cities such as Gothenburg, Nice and Nantes. Monapass is a first step in our collective path towards a more mobile, sustainable and effective transport system in Monaco,” said Georges Gambarini, Head of the Smart City Programme for the Prince’s Government.

The Monapass app is available free of charge on iOS and Android.
