The Principality launches the MonaCube competition
The Ministry of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, in partnership with A4MT, is inviting public and private entities in the Principality to join in the launch of the first edition of MonaCube: a version of the Efficient Building Usage Competition (CUBE) tailored to Monaco.
This is a one-year trial aimed at the construction industry to show participants how to improve energy efficiency daily. CUBE has been running in France for over a decade and has proven that by simply taking action, energy consumption can be cut by more than 10%, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The competition is designed to unite everyone to improve the efficient use of our buildings and rewards high-performance solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption by influencing how resources are harnessed, managed and used.
Through sharing knowledge and changing habits until they stick, the target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the levels recorded in 1990 by 55% by 2030 is within our grasp.
