Double launch by Mission for Energy Transition
In the first of two launches today, the “Pact Carbon Coach” was officially unveiled by Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, and Frédéric Genta, Country Chief Digital Officer : https://pacte-coachcarbone.mc/ .
This new digital commitment and support tool for those who have signed up to the National Pact was developed through close collaboration between the Mission for Energy Transition and the Digital Transition Office. Eagerly awaited by signatories of the Pact, the tool simplifies all of the associated initiatives. To aid decision-making, Pact actions will be supported by a dedicated guide to eco-friendly behaviours and a precise estimate of the carbon emissions that can be avoided by following them.
“The National Pact is not an inflexible tool. It adjusts and evolves over time and according to need. We are making changes and improvements to ensure that it reflects reality as closely as possible, as well as the expectations of Pact signatories and the latest developments in digital technology” said Marie-Pierre Gramaglia.
Secondly, Julien Vidal, founder of the eco-citizen movement Ça commence par moi (“It All Starts With Me”), presented the “National Pact Ambassadors Programme”, for which he is the trainer. The programme aims to promote and share information about the National Pact.
The first ten National Pact Ambassadors, who spent two hours with Julien following the event, will become “spokespeople” for the Principality’s energy transition challenges. Their role is to embody the Pact for their friends and family and their community, with active support from the Mission for Energy Transition, which will provide training, mobilisation workshops and follow-up.
