Onward and upward for MaConsigne...

5-MaConsigne-Ravin

On 13 June, the Mission for Energy Transition officially launched the MaConsigne returnable container scheme for takeaways: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iatu0_P9QEk

The Government is stepping up its commitment to its zero single-use plastic by 2030 policy.

In less than four months, the number of partner outlets has increased from 26 to 32!

And in other welcome news, the app’s popularity continues to grow (it has now been downloaded nearly 1,300 times) and there are two new collection points: in front of the SBM Offshore building and in front of Stars’N’Bars.

In addition, #TeamMaConsigne was launched on 6 October to strengthen the brand’s sense of “community” by encouraging users to take photos of themselves with their container(s), on their own or in groups!

To mark Taste Week, from 10 to 16 October the restaurant Mada One is offering two brand new fine dining dishes created by two-Michelin-star chef Marcel Ravin, which are available only in a MaConsigne container.

Ravin, one of the most gifted chefs of his generation, has come up with two exclusive recipes:

  • A comforting, hot dish with warm, creamy notes
  • A colourful, healthy salad, full of vitamins

Finally, the expansion of the scheme to cover delivery, which many of you are keen to see, is coming... Stay tuned, we’ll have more to tell you very soon...

Cut out disposable packaging and opt for MaConsigne !

In 2020, the incineration of plastic was the leading source of greenhouse gases in the Principality, accounting for 23% of our emissions, while in 2021, more than 2 million disposable containers were used.
Managing waste has become a crucial issue, and returnable containers, a tangible example of reuse and the circular economy, are already back in fashion in many countries.
