Six years after White Paper published and five years after National Pact created, what has been achieved ?

NL12-ART2-CONSEILLER

It has been six years since the Energy Transition White Paper was published and five years since the Pact was created, making this the perfect time to review what has been achieved.

A quick reminder...

In 2016, H.S.H. Prince Albert II decided to establish the Mission for Energy Transition and the National Green Fund, to be managed by the Mission.

The Energy Transition White Paper was published in 2017, and was the first stage in efforts to mobilise the Monegasque community. The initiative sought to gather together the perceptions, actions and expectations of stakeholders in the Principality in order to set out a shared road map which would take Monaco to 2050.
Of the 88 action ideas identified, 48 were (or are currently being) introduced by the Government.

Following on from the White Paper, the National Pact was launched in January 2018.

The Pact is a tool for progress, which comprises phased support offered by the Mission for Energy Transition to individuals and businesses, and an annual review. Today, a total of 322 organisations (representing a third of employees in the Principality) and 1,800 individuals have signed up.
